by a core group of about 15 independently- owned galleries
NBPT artwalk is a resource for serious art collectors seeking quality work from local and internationally sought after artists.
Participating galleries offer exhibitions, demonstrations and talks from its exciting community of artists two - three times a year during the spring and winter.
A wide variety of art and craft from artisan jewelry, photography, printmaking, painting, sculpture, ceramics and more can be appreciated along the route.
Artwalk is an initiative that helps spotlight the vibrant gallery scene and emphasizes the talents of local artists inside those galleries encouraging collecting of original fine art.
NBPT artwalk is self-funded by the annual dues each gallery pays to help spread the word about the galleries in Newburyport.
We welcome you to visit several of these locations often as all galleries are open year round with regular business hours with rotating exhibits.
Your purchases of original artwork keep the creative arts thriving and ensure the longevity of brick and mortar locations.
